JAGBYEOL(goodbye)

 In our last quarter in ICT 10 in this school year, we discussed and learned image editing using Photoshop. We already learned this when we were in the lower years but learning and studying it again was really fun because our knowledge in Photoshop was added.
          Although it is hard for me but easy for others, I have learned some things again. Again because what I’ve known before is still the things I learned right now. Adjusting sizes, resolution, layers, adding text, making backgrounds, applying tools like lasso tool, marquee tools to crop images on desired spots. Also I’ve experienced again to use the eraser too, duplicating layers, adding layers and a lot more.
          But of course, I still encountered some problems but thanks to my classmates they 

VIVA VIGAN

Every 25th day of January, the fiesta of Vigan City is being celebrated. Another celebration during this day is the conversion of St. Paul which is the patron saint of Vigan City. The Vigan's main church, Metropolitan Cathedral and the major Catholic educational institution, the St. Paul College of Ilocos Sur are dedicated to St. Paul. The Vigan City Fiesta lasts for several days. The celebration also includes the cityhood of Vigan celebrated every 27th day of January. 

     During this event, Bigueños all over the world return to Vigan to join their family and friends in the celebration of this big event. Thousands of visitors and tourists also come and see how we celebrate our fiesta. They enjoyed the activities prepared by the government and the people of Vigan which shows our culture, tradition and products. Some of the activities during the fiesta were: cultural shows, parades, street dancing, food fairs, arts and craft exhibits, visiting carnival, various games and other activities. 

     Within the Vigan City Fiesta days, the very famous Longganisa Festival was also celebrated. It is to show our product, the Vigan longganisa, a native version of Mexican salami and has a distinct garlicky taste that became a favorite of the Filipinos. Making of Vigan Longganisa is a centuries old-tradition that's why we let people know about it through activities such as a Longganisa themed parade and a street dancing. 

  This year's fiesta is as beautiful as before. Many tourists still adore our cultures, traditions and products which made the Vigan one of the Seven Wonder Cities of the World. Through this fiesta, we showed how rich Vigan City is. We hope that after many centuries, Vigan will still be Vigan. Happy Fiesta, Vigan City! Viva Vigan! 

SURE, ILOCOS SUR

Kannawidan Festival is one of the happiest festival here in Ilocos Sur because during this festival, many competitions will happen because for me, watching competition is exciting and enjoyable.

          During Kannawidan festival, I am amazed to watch the concert of the artists because they are funny and I am also amazed to watch a live band. When I'm watching a live band, I was amazed because watching a live band with my best friends is enjoyable and fun and I remember that one of them is crying while watching a live band because they performed a sad song.
          This festival is very important for us to recognize and commemorate the anniversary of Ilocos Sur as a province. We, Ilocanos shall continue to preserve the rich Iloco cultural, artistic,  historical and intellectual heritage.  Let us work as one and be united, to love our own culture and arts.
          

ISNHS HIGH SCHOOL DAY

Ilocos Sur National High School had their 117th Foundation Day last 2nd day of March 2020. For them, it is a special day of the entire school cause they have a chance to reflect not only the beginnings of the school and its founders but also on the significant development since the school’s foundation.
           The High School Day Celebration is well known in the whole Vigan City. The students face an everyday practice to prepare for the program. They contest for the dance, and there is also the teachers who present a dance too. The 118th High School Day is great, amazing and enjoyable, the execution of the dances and the presentation are well and good . The winners of the dance contest is the grade 8 students, in the category of girls and boys. They deserve to be the winner because most of them is dancing and performing well, so on in all their dance are great and colorful.So that's why the anniversary of the school is exciting and enjoyable.
          The Foundation Day was filled with fun, excitement and joy. It is the time of celebrating the founding of our school so we must treasure it every time we celebrate it and  that became our second home. Aim High, Fly, Soar. Ilocos Sur National Highschool.

CHANGE STARTS WITH ME

Our God created the Earth that filled with many living things and non living things. He thought that no one can take care those things He was created so He plans to create a living thing that looks like Him and that living things is called human beings.

          While we are studying, our teachers taught us on how to help other people and they also taught us to have a good manners and we must also respect the people who is older. It is true that change starts with me because as a student and as a boy scout, my responsibility is to save our mother Earth and to help other people who really needs help. When I'm not yet a member of boy scout, I don't know how to wash dishes, I don't know how to wash my clothes, I don't know how cook a rice and I don't know how to be a leader but when I became an officially member of the scouting movement, I learned all the things that I didn't know before.
          Change in the end. It all leads to one conclusion. Change is never done alone. So let's change, be positive and be a good model to others. Change starts with me.

NEW YEAR, NEW ME

Every year is a new blessing for us from God and we need to thank Him for the same. A New Year is a blossom in our life and it is worth celebrating the day. It is a simple and known fact that January 1 is fabulously celebrated as the greatest and most important day all across the world. This day is considered as a day filled with great fun and enthusiasm. 

       

 "New Year, New Me" this statement is true because my new year's resolution is to be more productive, organize my things, and boost my confidence. When talking about productivity there are a lot of things involved. I want to perform efficiently to have good grades in school. This New Year, a good resolution is to avoid procrastination. Why do tomorrow, what I can do today? I want to use my time wisely. And I will try to multi-task if necessary. I want to make it a goal this 2019 to finish my entire task on time and get positive feedback. It’s a great start for my 2019 resolutions.

         

 New Year is a special day for each person because it is time for welcoming another year, enjoying with family and friends, having fun and taking resolutions for the upcoming year.
