  Environmentalism is an ideology that evokes the necessity and responsibility of humans to respect, protect, and preserve the natural world from its anthropogenic (caused by humans) afflictions.

Environmental awareness is an integral part of the movement’s success. By teaching our friends and family that the physical environment is fragile and indispensable we can begin fixing the problems that threaten it.

CHILDREN'S MONTH CELEBRATION

 Being a child is one of the unforgettable experience in our whole life because of that time we experience different happiness. But nowadays many of the children's are being abused that can be a reason that will affect the child's growth.


Here in the Philippines we celebrate children's month every month of October  and the theme for this year is "kahirapan ay wakasan, karapatan ng bata ipaglaban". For me the theme means that we must protect the rights of the children. Being a children we need to feel that there are people who care about us that's why our parents are there to make us feel that we are not alone.


In addition as a children we must love our parents as a sign of thank you for them, and have fear in god because god is that one who created us and lastly we must study hard for our future.

VALUES MONTH CELEBRATION

Kung noon wala pang mga makabagong teknolohiya na ginagamit para sa mga ibang bagay tulad nalang ng pakikipag-usap sa mga taong nasa malalayo, pero dahil sa pagbago ng teknolohiya nagkaroon na ng iba't ibang mga gadgets, halos lahat na ng bansa ay may mga gadgets na ginagamit. Ang mga gadgets ay napakalaking tulong sa ating lahat dahil mas napapadali nila ang mga ibang gawain pero hindi natin namamalayan na dahil sa paggamit natin ng mga gadgets ay marami na saatin ang na aadik sa paggamit nito at marami naring mga mag-aaral ang nagpapabaya sa kanilang pag-aaral ng dahil sa mga laro sa kanilng mga gadgets tulad na lng ng mobile legends, dota 2, at iba pang mga laro.


Dapat palagi nating tandaan na dapat bigyan din natin ng limitasyon ang paggamit ng gadgets at dapat alam natin na ang mga gadgets ay para lang sa mga bagay na kailangan natin at hindi upang abusuhion. Minsan dapat alalahanin naman natin ang ating kalusugan at an ating kinabukasan.

UNITED NATION DAY

The United Nations (UN) is an international organization that was formed after the Second World War. The main purpose of UN is to provide security and peace at the international level, resolve conflicts and protect human rights. The UN also promotes international co-operation by maintaining global social, political and economic conditions. However, it is difficult for many countries in the UN to partake in the decision-making because the UN is made up of different countries that have distinct political systems and ideologies.
The composition and contribution of each member state to the United Nations determines its efficiency in resolving crises around the world. The UN, as the largest international institution, has the authority to deal with both military and economic crises throughout the world. When each of the 193 member states signed the UN Charter, they united under the same principles: “commitment to maintain international peace and security, developing friendly relations among nations, promoting social progress, better living standards, and human rights.”

REFLECTION

This 2nd Grading, we learned all about internet access and html. We all know that internet access is the process of connecting to the internet using personal computers, laptops or mobile devices by users or enterprises. And html is an acronym for HyperText Markup Language. We experienced how to make a html file. And because of this, I will make sure that this learning that I learned will be forever in my mind. Because making a html file is so hard. My challenges or problems will address that I have learned something in this activity. I am very excited to learn more about computers.

The ISNHS Intramurals 2019 is the perfect time to highlight camaraderie, sportsmanship and vast talents and skills. The school is a place where students are enhanced and nurtured to become a responsible and productive member of the society. It provides complete means of molding students to become an employee and professional, to chosen field of endevour they wish to engage in. The general and physical Education subject attempts to let the students have holistic and active lifestyle and at the same time learn life from valuing the essence of winning and losing.

Intramurals sports refer to any recreational activity which are arranged within specific school or university. The purpose of this is to make students physically and mentally active and bring fun and enthusiasm. It also promotes wellness, such events cannot be boring and dull. Various peculiar games, plays and competitions can be held within the school. 

Intramurals result a big and great amount of new friends and acquaintances as friendly atmosphere and funny activities bring many positive emotions and desire to share and enhance socialization among others. Have you ever imagine if there is no science and technology in our world? Every year there is a theme and this year the theme is “Wavefront: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technology Advancements”  according to research the national science club make this theme  to give importance to Michael Faraday’s discovery of electricity and magnetism that change the world as you see today and to the future.

HAPPY SCHOOLS MOVEMENT

Happy School Movement or the HSM is just one movement which advocates to promote that every school should be a better and enjoyable place to learn.

With the birth of Child Protection Policy in 2012, known as the Policy and Guidelines on Protecting Children in School from Abuse, Violence, Exploitation, Discrimination, Bullying and Other Forms of Abuse, various symposia, seminars and other information dissemination campaigns have been initiated by different schools to let teachers, learners and everybody know their do’s and don’ts in dealing with a learner.

This became an eye-opener to everyone on how fragile and delicate our learners are, thus they deserve to be loved and taken with utmost care. Activities and movements had been in the center stage to make our schools a child-friendly haven.

VIGAN CELEBRATES WORLD HERITAGE SOLDARITY

Another great time to visit Vigan is during their World Heritage Cities Solidarity Day celebration every September 8. Vigan celebrates this with other cities all over the world that have world heritage sites.

In Vigan this special day is actually commemorated with week-long festivities aimed at strengthening pride in the history and culture of Vigan. This aim is in keeping with the long-term goal of preserving the 630 heritage structures that date back from the 18th and 19th century. Vigan’s well-preserved Spanish trading town environ has survived the test of time, including bombings during World War II which leveled the major Philippine cities of Baguio, Cebu and Manila. Visitors can start their Vigan heritage solidarity festivities with the Repazzo de Vigan. This is a parade that is participated in by all 39 barangays, specially the students and members of non-governmental organizations. The participants dramatize the Biguenos’ way of life from Spanish time up to the period after World War II while they walk through the designated parade route, accompanied by music.

REFLECTION

This First Grading period, I learned more about blogs. Through blogging, I realized that making a blog is very important because it helps us to improve our grammar in making essays and even in making open letters. Blogging is also important because we will experience posting an article online.
          There are two problems or challenges that I have encountered this quarter. First is when I ran out of time in making an article because making an article is not easy and it took me more than an hour. Second is, when I'm writing my article as a draft in my notebook with an incorrect grammar.
          I overcome this challenges by practicing my grammar through reading dictionaries and some articles.
          I will continue focusing on my studies in this subject. I will not stop learning because I know that ICT is great and interesting and I know that I will learn many things from this subject.

DISASTER RESILIENCY

   
  While disaster is not known when it comes, being resilient is one best thing we can do. Being prepared spells the difference for the safety of our family and others.

 When you are prepared, it induces your fear and anxiety. It also helps us to save ourselves from the upcoming disasters such as earthquake, flash floods, super typhoons, landslide volcanic eruption and storm surge. The important of preparing ourselves for disasters is universal. Emergencies can happen anywhere and everyone must take action to prepare for emergencies in case something unexpected happens. Whether it is a hurricane, flood, earthquake, or tsunami, many things can happen that could change lives. The threat is real, disasters disrupt hundreds.

We all know that prevention is better than cure so we must sustain being resilient. We must also know the evacuation areas for where we can go in case and the fastest and safest way to get there

GOOD HEALTH AND PROPER NUTRITION

Nutrition is a process that involves the breakdown of foods and other substances in the mouth, useful in the delivery of body energy. Practicing healthy diet can lead to avoidance of both the known and unknown health issues.

Proper nutrition is one of the most elements to being healthy and living a long life. People deal with food everyday and it has been a part of life so it’s important to check and see what we eat so we can be  departed to illnesses  and diseases.

In the connection of the theme “Kumain ng wasto at mging Aktibo… Push natin to” says that we should promote it and apply in our daily life. Proper or healthy diet helps people to maintain and improve their good health. It also makes them active and help them in doing physical activities.

Good health means you need to eat the foods that has good benefits in your body so it’s important to eat in a proper way and we should also have some regular exercise daily to maintain balanced diet and healthy body.

NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL

While earthquake can never be predicted, being prepared spells the difference of safety of our teachers and fellow students.

It is great that our government implement this type of drill so students and also teachers will be train to be prepared when this disaster come along. There are some students take the drill seriously and others take like it’s only a joke. There were students that walk and do not follow the roper way on what is indicated to do. In this cases, first aid kit or trauma kit must be present in each room so that in case of injuries and emergencies, there are tools and supplies to be used.

Thanks to our facilitators from the DRRMC, BFP and PNP who comes when we conduct this drill so that they can show us our mistakes and to teach us the proper way of doing things during an earthquake. We should be always ready and prepared because being prepared can help to prolong our life.

LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT

     Dear President Rodrigo Duterte,

  I just want to tell you that I am grateful that you are doing your best to be a great leader for our country. I am a high school student from Ilocos Sur National High School and I am very thankful to have the privilege to write a simple letter to you.

I would like to thank you, as there have been many changes and progress during your administration. We applaud you for the clean up of Manila Bay and Boracay for it was great that in a world where our environment is no longer valued, thank you for taking steps and plans to protect and preserve the beauty of our country.  My insight on the 121st celebration of independence day is great and memorable. This annual celebration is the day that we had and achieve our freedom from the no mercy people of Spain.

     It’s great that we celebrate Independence Day to remember the day that we meet our freedom and also to preserve and it will be a historical story for our county. In this way, we can show our strong characteristic by being an independent person.

     Others says that independence day is also “single day”. because in being single, you learn how to be independent for yourself and not to depend on others. In this day we can also have more time to bond with our families and also do out going activities such as biking hiking and more.
